**REQUIREMENTS**
- Matric, 3-5 years of work experience on digital projects, preferably as a Digital Media/Digital Project Manager or Brand Manager responsible for digital communication and/or working in a global marketing team
- University degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalistic, IT and/or a related discipline (Digital)
- Experience of working with social communication for a global brand within the Luxury/drinks (FMCG) industry highly advantageous
- Experience in FMCG / alcohol / tobacco brands / luxury brands where marketing is a plus (legal advertising constraints)
- Fluent English (high level of literacy), French is appreciated, but not a must
- Experience in managing digital channels for multiple brands in a corporate environment
- Experience & excellent eye for detail in digital media. Understanding of production across all digital source
- Excellent understanding of paid/earned/shared/owned media landscape and in-deep knowledge of marketing and advertising trends and opportunities in Digital
- Excellent know-how of brand marketing, digital campaigns on different platforms and liaising with multiple agencies
- Excellent organizational and project planning/management skills coupled with the ability to work in a self-directed manner
- Experience in campaign reporting and analysis - interpreting digital insights and data into actionable reports that are easy to communicate to those unfamiliar with digital terminology.
- Ability to work and build relationships with multiple stakeholders from agencies to senior management.
- Social Media Customer Service experience dealing with complaints/issues/praise. Understanding of escalation processes/procedures/best practices
- Ability to provide creative direction and ensure social media best practice is followed.
- Experience using social media analytic software (e.g. Talkwalker, Emplifi, etc) advantageous
- Content creation experience and passion for understanding local culture
- Strong copywriting ability is essential.
- Able to change tone of voice for different audiences/brands.
- Strong understanding of digital media buying.
- Experience in developing and implementing long-term digital strategies to support and develop brands ambition.

**DUTIES**
- Understanding the overall brand strategy, DNA, and translating it into a coherent and effective relevant digital strategy that will engage our different audiences.
- Develop digital strategy - Conceptualising & implementing strategic objectives & KPIs
- Report and advise on key consumer trends and performance metrics.
- Work to understand consumer and demographic data to inform the digital strategic direction.
- Act as the advocate and custodian of digital and brand expert continually building the capabilities of the region.
- Cascade updates and information to Markets.
- Manage archive of social media & digital content.
- Ensure that pages are following the Marketing Code of Conduct.
- Monitor key industry trends using digital tools and channels.
- Monthly Check-ins with Markets to nourish digital efforts.
- Management of third-party suppliers.
- Developing best practice digital toolkits for Market's campaigns.
- Management, briefing and reviewing the work of Agencies.
- Managing criteria for agencies
- A good affinity to luxury / premium products
- High level of creativity and thinking outside the box
- High level of pro-activity and can-do attitude (working around budget and legal constraints)
- Strong planning, budgeting and coordination skills
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Ability to inspire / influence and motivate local brand teams on digital activations
- Well-organized, self-disciplined, responsible person
- Strategic and critical thinking and tendency for a helicopter view
- Project leader
