Job Profile Summary:
**Administrator: People Services (3 positions available in Durban/Pretoria)**
**Role Overview**:The People Services Administrator supports the HR team by managing day-to-day HR operations, handling employee inquiries, and maintaining accurate HR records. This role ensures smooth recruitment, onboarding processes, and compliance with HR policies, contributing to an efficient and positive employee experience
**Job Description**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including benefit enrollment, master file creation and document gathering.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Process employee data changes through the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to ensure employee records are maintained and updated to with accurate information in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide support in administering payroll and benefits, including answering employee queries and assisting with benefits enrollment and changes.
- Ensure HR processes and records comply with relevant employment laws and regulations and the business maintains required information for employees by location.
- Support HR team projects and initiatives as needed, performing general office administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and handling correspondence.
**Key Qualifications and Experience**:
- 2-4 years of experience in HR Administration or Administration
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Expanded knowledge base with a deeper understanding of job-related concepts
**Specific & Business Knowledge Required**:
- Critical Thinking; Adaptive thinking; Attention to detail; Labour Legislation; Administration Processes; HR Information Systems (e.g. SAGE, Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle etc.); HR best practices; proactive and able to identify opportunities for improvement, basic reporting skills
- Understanding of business domain, business strategy and long-term objectives; Understanding of People Strategy
