Contracts & Claims Manager

ABOUT THE JOB**:(DISPUTE RESOLUTION / CONTRACT / QS MANAGEMENT )**
- Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, tasks and duties shall generally comprise
- Overseeing the project Quantity Survey (QS) department and mentoring QS staff to ensure that all tasks related to this department are fulfilled in line with Contract requirements;
- Overseeing the project Planning department and mentoring Planning staff to ensure that all tasks related to this department are fulfilled in line with Contract requirements;
- Preparation of contractual correspondence and supporting documentation in relation to all contract issues such as claims, variations, delays, payments, disputes and other such matters under the main Contract between the Employer and Contractor and under the Subcontract between the Contractor and Subcontractor(s);
- Provide assistance and mentoring to management on all aspects related to Contract issues following FIDIC guidelines;
- Assistance to management, if requested, in the preparation of general correspondence between the Contractor and Employer, Employer’s project representative, Port operator, Government and local Authorities, Subcontractors and other third parties;
- Attend meetings with the Employer, Engineer, Subcontractor(s), and other relevant authorities;
MUST HAVE
- Familiar with FIDIC Conditions of Contract for CONSTRUCTION
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Contracts management;
- Multilateral Development Bank Harmonised Edition June 2010, in particular DB & Arbitration;
- Familiar with FIDIC Conditions of Subcontract for CONSTRUCTION First Edition 2011, in particular DAB & Arbitration
- Have worked in construction and Engineering-oriented company;
