My client is seeking to employ a qualified Boilermaker on a 6 month contract

The successful person will have the following:

- Boiler maker Trade Certificate with at least 5 years practical experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Structural Steel Fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality of finished work.
- Mining/ Chemical experience will be added advantage.
- Knowledge of Welding principles and use of welding definitions and platform.
- Working knowledge of mechanical equipment.
- Ability to draw, read interpret and produced basic drawings
- Conduct Fabrication planned maintenance.

They will be responsible for:

- Reading blueprints for location, position, and dimension.
- Completing maintenance documentation.
- Organizing and assembling boiling parts.
- Shaping and fabrication.
- Welding and cleaning of fabricated parts
- Inspecting equipment for proper functioning
- Assisting in the development and creation of welding procedure and specification.
