Our client is looking for a Senior Service Technician to join their branch in Cape Town. The incumbent will assist with daily operations to maximize the effective and efficient use of the resources and processes to provide fast, accurate services.

**Key requirement**
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Customer service focus and results oriented
- Technical qualification preferably Diesel Mechanical Engineering
- A working knowledge of diesel generators, diesel engines monitoring such Deep-sea Electronics, Datacom
- Familiar with telecommunication industry and generators hire industry
- Ability to work flexible shifts

**Key function**
- Effectively manage branch operations, deployment, refueling, collections and servicing
- Continually monitor, measure and improve equipment performance and processes improvement
- Forecast and budget resource to satisfy forecasts
- Ensure jobs are processed and billed on a daily basis
- In conjunction with Branch manager build and maintain an environment characterized by high productivity and staff morale
- Ensure a culture of safety through ongoing communication and timely completion of safety initiatives and reinforcing safe work habits
- Take corrective action on any items noted during the on-going assessments
