At KCS the Director** of Product Management for OnRent & K8 Trader **will spearhead the strategic direction and execution of product development for our cutting-edge NextGen OnRent and K8 Trader platforms. By deeply understanding market needs and leveraging technological advancements, this role aims to revolutionise the rental and trading sectors, delivering exceptional value to our customers. Balancing innovation with user-centric design, the Director will ensure that both platforms set new standards in efficiency, usability, and customer satisfaction, maintaining Kerridge Commercial Systems at the forefront of the digital transformation in our industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Strategic Product Vision and Planning: Develop and articulate a clear strategic vision for OnRent and NextGen K8 Trader, identifying key opportunities for innovation and growth. Plan and execute the product roadmap in alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Market and Customer Insight: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends. Use these insights to inform product development priorities and enhancements.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure seamless development and launch of product features and updates. Foster a culture of innovation and customer-centricity across the organization.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success, including user engagement, customer satisfaction, and market penetration. Regularly report on product performance to senior management and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, communicate product value propositions, and ensure alignment with market needs and company goals.

**Key Requirements**:

- Strategic Vision and Leadership: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic product visions that align with business objectives and drive market success.
- Expertise in Rentals Market: Detailed knowledge and experience in the rentals industry, with a proven track record of delivering innovative rental solutions that meet market needs.
- Product Management Excellence: Extensive experience in product management, including roadmap planning, market analysis, and lifecycle management, preferably in tech or digital product sectors.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Strong skills in engaging with and managing expectations of stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Analytical and Decision-Making Abilities: Proficiency in using market data and analytics to inform product decisions and strategies.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and solve complex problems creatively and effectively.
