Job Title: Site Manager

Job Location: On-Site in Pietermaritzburg, KZN

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Manager to oversee various aspects

of our operations, including fleet management, IT infrastructure, occupational health

and safety (OHS), general maintenance, budgeting, vendor management, and reporting

excellent organizational skills, and the ability to ensure the efficient and smooth running

of the site.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Fleet Management:
Oversee the maintenance, allocation, and scheduling of the company's fleet.

Implement strategies to optimize the use of vehicles, ensuring cost-effectiveness and

compliance with regulations.

Collaborate with vendors for vehicle servicing and repairs.

2. IT Infrastructure:
Manage and maintain the company's IT systems, including hardware, software, and

networks.

Coordinate with the IT department to address technical issues promptly.

Implement IT security protocols to safeguard company data.

3. Occupational Health and Safety (OHS):
Develop and enforce OHS policies and procedures to ensure a safe working

environment.

Conduct regular safety audits and assessments, addressing any identified hazards.

Provide OHS training to staff and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

4. General Maintenance:
Supervise general maintenance activities for buildings, facilities, and equipment.

Develop a preventive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime.

Coordinate with external service providers for specialized maintenance tasks.

5. Budgeting:
Collaborate with the finance department to create and manage budgets for site

operations.

Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial goals are

met.

6. Vendor Management:
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.

Negotiate contracts, review service agreements, and ensure vendors meet quality

standards.

Evaluate vendor performance and address any issues or discrepancies.

7. Reporting to Executive Team:
Prepare and present regular reports on site operations, including key performance

indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.

Communicate challenges, achievements, and recommendations to the executive team.

Collaborate with other departments to align site activities with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in site management, preferably in a multifaceted role.
- Strong understanding of fleet management, IT systems, OHS, and general

maintenance.
- Excellent budgeting and financial management skills.
- Effective leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a dynamic environment.
