Depot Supervisor

Constantia Kunsmis, part of the TWK Group, has the following vacancy available: Depot Supervisor at Umlaas, KwaZulu-Natal.

**Job Summary**
The Depot Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing every aspect of running the Constantia Umlaas Depot from Administration to supervising the loading of product. The Depot Supervisor will also be responsible for co-ordinating the Health and Safety Files and prepare for any health and safety Audits that may be required.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- ** Team Supervision**
- Ensure the team checks and loads products according to orders
- Ensure the company policies, procedures and Health and Safety requirements are followed
- ** Loading Operations**
- Communicate with all customers, agents and branches with regards to orders being loaded out of the Depot
- Oversee the loading of orders and ensuring that the correct product and quantity are loaded
- Co-ordinate loading times (and any other information required for loading) with transport operators
- Ensure that loading and tarping of products onto Transport Vehicles are correct and that all safety precautions are taken into account
- ** Administration**
- Send out daily report of Stock availability in Depot as well as current orders on schedule for all customers and agents
- Ensure correct documentation and delivery notes are made out and ready for any order being collected by Transporters, customers, agents or branches
- Ensure the GHS documentation is sent with each product type that is loaded
- Ensure stock count is performed daily, and monthly stock counts are done
- Ensure that relevant documentation is completed according to the Company Policies and Procedures
- Ensure all paperwork is neatly filed and stored
- ** Housekeeping and general storage**
- Ensure that the staff keeps the Depot clean
- Ensure that products are neatly stored and stacked according to the Safety regulations
- Ensure that designated area for tools and equipment are kept tidy and that no product is stored within the designated area
- No tools or equipment must be left unattended, and all tools and equipment are stored in the designated area
- ** Health and Safety**
- Ensure Health and Safety files are up to date with all relevant documentation for the depot and the Umlaas plant facility
- Ensure that monthly checklists are completed by relevant representatives and that any queries are addressed
- Ensure that training certificated are up to date
- Ensure that all machinery, equipment and forklift certificates (monthly, quarterly and annually) or regularly serviced and up to date
- Arrange for servicing and the maintenance of any equipment/machinery or forklifts
- Attend any Health and Safety audits that are required, attend to the reporting thereof and ensure that any findings are closed out and cleared within the timeframe given

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Matric / Grade 12
- Relevant degree / qualification (advantageous)
- 3 years’ experience in Warehouse management and Stock control
- 3 years’ experience in Health and Safety Management and regulations
- 3 years’ experience in Sales at a Junior management level
- Strong knowledge of customer relationship management
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
