**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
Prodist is looking the Administrative Support Clerk is responsible for providing switchboard services, managing customer claims, managing the warranty bin process and supporting general office administration. The role ensures efficient handling of client queries, processing of claims, and smooth coordination of administrative tasks.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB**

**Switchboard Operations**:

- Answer and direct incoming calls within three rings.
- Accurately relay messages and ensure smooth communication. ** Claims Administration**:

- Record and process customer claims, ensuring proper documentation.
- Investigate claims with internal teams to validate and finalize.
- Communicate claim status updates to customers.
- Maintain and generate reports for ongoing, pending, and closed claims. ** General Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain up-to-date asset registers and conduct periodic audits.
- Manage consignment stock and maintain accurate records.
- Organize monthly stock counts and invoicing as needed. ** Warranty Bin Administration**:

- Follow up on outstanding warranty queries.
- Coordinate stock returns and rework processes.
- Manage sample collections and distribution. ** Reporting & Documentation**:

- Compile and update claims reports.
- Ensure accurate filing and easy access to all administrative documents.
- Follow up with relevant departments to close outstanding matters.
- National Senior Certificate (Matric) is required.
- Additional certification in Microsoft Office (Excel) is advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience, with exposure to: Claims processing, Stock control, Customer support, Switchboard operations
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to problem-solve and handle inquiries efficiently.
