To develop and implement strategic learning solutions that focus on building leadership capability, to develop and implement strategies that embed Diversity, Equity and that enhance employee engagement.
**Required Knowledge and Experience**:
**Experience**:
- 5-7 years developing and leading Leadership Development programmes
- 5-7 years DEI and/or Employee Engagement experience
- Project Management and Planning experience
- Learning facilitation and/or internal communications experience
- Contracting and Management of external providers
- Management consulting experience an advantage
- HR Business Partnering experience will be advantageous
Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge of Labour and Employment Legislation applicable within South Africa
- Understanding of Human Capital practices in relation to learning
- Knowledge and skills in adult learning, training and related industry trends
- Business Acumen
- Knowledge and understanding of DEI and its legislative landscape both locally and globally
- Knowledge and understanding of Organisational Leadership, Culture and Change
- Knowledge and understanding of employee engagement, EVP and employee experience
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office Suite

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the Hollard Leadership Development strategy and framework to build the leadership and culture capability required to deliver on the Group Hollard Strategy
- Provide strategic thought-leadership on Group-wide leadership development
- Partner with BU L&D, business leaders and HR Business Partners to identify needs that leverage the core of our leadership development programs, frameworks and other best practices to help leaders to get the best out of their people
- Partner with L&D and HR Business Partners to shape, customize and implement leadership development strategies
- Design and deploy leadership development solutions across the group that will ensure the relevant current and future leadership skills and capabilities
- Manage and drive the coaching and mentoring portfolios across the Hollard group (both internally and externally)
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the Leadership, Mentoring and Coaching interventions.
- Design and implement the Hollard Employee Engagement strategy and framework
- Manage project team to ensure successful execution of the Group Employee Engagement & Pulse Surveys as per the required cycles
- Manage Group Employee Engagement communication and campaigns as well as support BU specific initiatives
- Provide analysis, interpretation, observations, recommendations, and monitor progress on action plans based on employee survey results for the Hollard Group
- Monitor and report on the progress against identified action plans for the Hollard Group
- Ensure that Employee Engagement strategy is aligned with the Group EVP
- Design and implement the Hollard DEI strategy and framework
- Provide strategic thought-leadership on Group-wide diversity and inclusion matters
- Design, develop and implement programmes to create a diverse and inclusive workplace
- Develop and deploy DEI policies, practices and plans with clear objectives, targets and mechanisms to report progress
- Manage Group communication and campaigns as well as support BU specific initiatives for Leadership Programmes, DEI Initiatives and Employee Engagement
- Foster effective teamwork, collaboration between team members, internal and external stakeholders, while ensuring individuals perform optimally to contribute to team objectives.
- Manage the performance of team members in accordance with the Hollard performance management policies and procedures, including contracting and reviewing of objectives.
**Educational Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree - HRM, Industrial or Organisational Psychology
- Honours in Human Resource Management or I/O Psychology an advantage
- Project Management Certificate advantage
