**Job Summary**:
As a Freight Forwarder officer at Argo Freight, you will be an integral part of our cargo coordination team. We specialize in facilitating the seamless movement of goods for importers and exporters, working closely with our clients or their agents worldwide. **Responsibilities**:
1. QUOTE - estimations and sales:

- Analyze clients' requirements and determine suitable service providers and transporters.
- Assess pricing to ensure competitive and profitable quotes.
- Package and present comprehensive offers to clients, effectively conveying the value of our services.

2. SHIP (handle shipments once awarded) - operations:

- Meticulously organize and verify shipping documentation.
- Timely arrange bookings, inspections, and specific requirements for each shipment.
- Coordinate collection, loading, delivery, off-loading, storage, and any necessary actions.
- Maintain regular communication with transporters and service providers involved in the logistics chain.
- Provide consistent updates to clients, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the shipment process.

3. INVOICE AND FINALISE - administration:

- Verify and capture invoices from service providers into the accounting system.
- Issue Invoices to clients.
- Facilitate timely payment to service providers.
- Collect payment from clients in accordance with agreed terms.
- Organize and maintain documentation to ensure proper file closure.

**Recruitment process**:

- HR screening - online interview (30mins)
- Business Case (+/- 2h task to be completed ahead of last interview)
- In person Interview with our Director with business case (45min)
- Interview with our Senior Freight Forwarder (45min)

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
