POS
- Maintain internal and outsourced POS databases, including Master License territories, where applicable.
- Lockdown all POS systems to enable control and central management.
- Troubleshoots POS and back office problems and collaborates with vendors and other support technicians to resolve support issues.
- Custodian of the POS systems in all markets, liaise directly with service providers & in-country teams, where necessary.
- Manage the POS portfolio across all assigned brands to ensure the following:

- Uniform POS installation within each brand.
- Lockdown of all installations.
- Responsible for resolving all POS-related issues, across the POS ecosystem.
- Support AME Team to add value and enhance franchisee relationships
- Communicate and manage processes with new development requirements to the POS vendors
- Technology support when integration with POS systems is required
- Drive the resolution of technical issues with any POS systems, along with new software releases
- Cost and brief all new national and locality promotions and manage the process with the POS vendors.

**MENU MATRIX**
- Create and maintain menu matrixes across assigned AME Brands.
- Ensure all Menu Matrices are uploaded onto the new Barnton System.
- Support the Marketing team with accurate costings for promotions and new product launches.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date menu matrices and report on theoretical GPs periodically.
- Work together with the AME Marketing team, to produce menus bi-annually. This includes:

- Preparing and presenting accurate and updated menu matrixes prior to the start of menu designs.
- Ensuring that all prices are correct on every menu element
- Briefing of POS vendors in accordance with published timelines
- Signing off on all POS databases
- Updating of internal tools related to the matrix

**BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE**
- Manage the process of receiving daily transaction files from restaurants
- Maximize all MIS outputs that are available from the data warehouse, specifically regarding transactional data.
- Assess data from a variety of reputable sources to gain insights into pricing strategy & market trends.
- Analyze competitor pricing regularly to advise the business on strategies to grow market share.

**Education and Experience**
- Minimum Matric
- Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, accounting or in related fields.
- Min. 2 years’ experience in Point of Sale functionality
- Experience with maintaining a POS database
- Experience and knowledge of food cost calculation
- Pricing Analyst background - beneficial.
- MS Office proficiency, advanced Excel knowledge required.
- Understanding of database rules.
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Power BI, FIS
