**Purpose of the Job**:
To deliver training interventions through developing, planning, coordinating, scheduling, delivering and evaluating the training programs specific to Operations, Manufacturing Plant and Maintenance to ensure gaps closure in line with operations business requirements and to drive ongoing learning interventions and training needs in line with business operations requirements.

**What you’ll have done before**:

- NQF Level 7 (Degree in Training & Development/ Education/ Supply Chain/ Human Resources Management/ Business
- Certification in Training (Certified Technical Trainer)
- 5- 6 years' experience in Technical Training or Operations within a Manufacturing/ Production environment
- Knowledge of Operation troubleshooting
- Experience in development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience in Training assessment, design and delivery in a manufacturing training/ plant environment
- Advantageous:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software
- Understanding of the Lubricant process stream
- Project management experience
- Ability to understand and interpret Engineering drawings

**What you’ll be doing**:

- COURSE CONTENT & ASSESSMENT MANAGEMENT- Coordinate the planning and development of course content and assessments, sourcing of relevant learning solutions to develop and build required capabilities and development of the learning catalogue to inform stakeholders of learning offerings

ONBOARDING PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT- Coordinate the planning and development of the onboarding content for new hires and new leaders through collaboration with stakeholders

CAPACITY BUILDING- Build capability in delivering the learning initiatives to support functions through improved engagements, supporting the capability learning academies, training and partnership to enable the delivery of positive on boarding experiences for new hires

AUDIT & REPORTING- Ensure that all training records are up to date and continuous report on gap closure within the department

NETWORKING AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING- Foster and sustain effective working relationships and rapport with the government authorities, business and management institutions, national and key industry players and service providers to keep abreast with latest development to capture new business opportunities.( CHIETA )

LEADERSHIP AND CAPABILITY DEVELOPMENT- Drive the development of competent working team that will enhance and sustain staff capabilities in achieving high performance delivery to ensure internalization of the right leadership and capabilities in executing their jobs
