Technical Presales Consultant

**Job Summary**

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role alongside our Account Executive Team, spearheading Equinix's success and driving the company's growth. In this influential position, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor, providing guidance to customers, partners, and colleagues alike. As a Sales Engineer at Equinix, you'll act as a technical pre-sales consultant, listening attentively to customers' unique requirements, aligning them with cutting-edge technical solutions, and effectively presenting these solutions to them. Your expertise will be vital in advising customers, partners, and colleagues at a technical level, contributing to the discovery of tailored solutions that meet their specific needs.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide technical solution design expertise to assigned Sales Account Executives
- Identify customer's business needs, challenges, and technical requirements, mapping them to Equinix solutions
- Demonstrate the value of Equinix's product portfolio through impactful demos, presentations, and showcasing the capabilities of our state-of-the-art Data Centers
- Support the negotiation phase by preparing quotes for customers
- To be able to conduct visits to our data centers and be able to explain their operation
