**We are seeking a Security Guard for a 12-month contract role based in East London, Eastern Cape.**

**Applicants are required to meet the following criteria**:

- Grade 12 with valid Driver’s License and Code E, D or C security qualification
- 4 years relevant security experience
- Firearm Competency (License to carry) & Police Clearance Certificate
- Must be PSIRA Registered
- Fluency in Xhosa and English

**The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to**:

- Manages security/loss prevention operations daily.
- Areas of responsibilities include protection of property assets, employees, guests and property, accident and fire prevention and response.
- Ensures that all areas of the property are safe and secure.
- Regular searches of female employees
- Random Breath analyzing
- Maintains logs, certifications and documents required by law and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction
- Assisting Drivers to and from Clients for secure data destruction
