**We are seeking a Property Manager for a permanent role based in East London, Eastern Cape.**

**Applicants are required to meet the following criteria**:

- Grade 12 with relevant degree / diploma and good computer literacy
- 10 years’ experience in the property environment with at least 5 years’ experience in property management
- Leasing experience with an existing network of retail and commercial tenants, on a national and regional scale
- Must be prepared to travel throughout EC and sleep out

**The** successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to**:

- Maintain high occupancy level and attract tenants by advertising
- Conclude lease agreements with new tenants and renewals
- Overall management of lease agreements
- Meet with tenants and maintain good relationships
- Follow up with queries and concerns and resolve complaints
- Ensure all properties are maintained and ensure security services are adequate ‘
- Oversee new developments, coordinate vendors and execution of projects
- Develop project plans and measure project performance
- Perform risk management and review monthly management accounts
- Propose rental rates and collecting rentals / deposits
- Authorizing payments, preparing budgets / expenditures and variances
- Prepare reports and participate in educational opportunities
- Observe / monitor staff performance, identify training needs
- Interview / hire applicants and ensure adherence to company’s disciplinary code

**Salary: R40 000.00 - R50 000.00 per month including Provident fund + Company vehicle & fuel card**
