We are looking for a passionate and experienced** Area Manager** to lead and direct all stores within the district. The **Area Manager** will focus on delivering an exceptional customer and employee experience, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI) results that maximize area performance. This role encompasses three major areas of responsibility: People, Product, and Place.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Complex Problem-Solving**: Address complex issues by analyzing various factors, exercising judgment within broadly defined practices and policies, and selecting appropriate methods and techniques to achieve results. Ensure budgets, schedules, and performance requirements are met.
- ** Supervision**: Manage activities across two or more sections, departments, or stores through subordinate managers responsible for costs, methods, and employees. In some instances, directly manage staff-level employees.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- ** Customer Service**: Demonstrate a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- ** People Development**: Develop people to the next level and foster a culture of continuous learning and sharing of new ideas and best practices.
- ** Attention to Detail**: Maintain high standards and meticulous attention to detail.
- ** Delegation and Follow-Up**: Exhibit strong delegation and follow-up skills.
- ** Retail Business Comprehension**: Understand retail business operations.
- ** Conflict Management**: Manage and resolve conflicts effectively.
- ** Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with others.
- ** Communication**: Exhibit outstanding communication skills.
- ** Team Recruitment and Development**: Recruit, hire, promote, and retain top management talent. Develop training plans for managers/assistant managers based on career aspirations and development needs.
- ** Performance Standards**: Set the standard of team performance and create teams that consistently achieve stated goals.
- ** Goal Setting**: Demonstrate the ability to set specific, actionable goals based on established KPIs and strategic business goals.
- ** Succession Planning**: Focus on succession planning to ensure employee career goals are met and internal promotions fill open positions.
- ** Employee Knowledge**: Continuously build employee knowledge by engaging in education and effective communication of organizational goals and strategies.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- ** Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of retail management experience.
- ** Education**: College degree preferred but not required.
- ** Travel**: Required to travel 50+%
