Their retail division consists of five chains that are located throughout South Africa with their footprint stretching as far as Namibia and Botswana and is currently South Africa’s favourite outdoor adventure store.

Our client is looking for a dedicated and passionate product owner with strong technical acumen to manage the development backlog and project roadmap for their five eCommerce sites.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Work closely with Product Manager and other Product Owner to create and maintain a product backlog
- You will create, own, and maintain the product roadmap
- Identify, analyse & understand the needs and requirements of customers and business stakeholders
- Gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee development stages (engaging in all ceremonies) This includes running day-to-day ceremonies of a product team including standup, planning, grooming and retrospectives

**Required skills and qualifications**
- 5 + years of experience in project management or product ownership
- Relevant experience in website or ecommerce builds and maintenance
- Good understanding of what is technically possible when developing ecommerce builds
- Experience in business analysis an added bonus
- In-depth knowledge of agile methodology
- Familiar with API development and other cloud bases services
- Comfortable leading UX, design and development processes
- Data oriented, using source such as google analytics to make informed decisions
