We’re looking for a Product Owner to join our Tech team, primarily supporting the Faithful to Nature brand. You will be the lead on the DIGITAL products (that is, not the physical packaged products that we retail), including our website and supporting technology platforms, customer-facing and internal. The Product Owner will be responsible for defining user stories that the development team can work from, managing the product backlog, while following agile methodologies. This role encompasses the management and identification of new features, quality assurance, change requests and bug fixes related to the Magento 2 projects to ensure that the team can meet overall product deliverables.

You’ll manage the end-to-end sprint process and assume the role of being the primary point of contact to manage non-critical items and escalate critical action items, including the management or coordination of internal communications and expectations with developers, business stakeholders, and senior management. Successful execution will drive and improve the overall performance of the Tech team.

Working closely with the Group Product Managers and Group Head of Technology, you will be fulfilling an essential role in executing our strategic Faithful to Nature product roadmap and facilitate our ability to continue to produce a sustainable and high-quality product.

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Project management:

- Create, manage and follow-up on software development tickets
- Prioritise tasks, with the Group Product Manager and business leaders
- Work with other departments to approve deployments and train business users
- Administer and lead sprint rhythms
- Test and Drive Quality Assurance
- Draft/collate all reports (time logging, sprint velocity, etc)
- Manage multiple projects and components simultaneously
- System expertise:

- Serve as an expert on the systems with the area of responsibility, to help other departments with queries and support
- Own and drive/execute testing and/or prepare and manage testing plans for all deployments
- Manage day-to-day communications between business and tech team (via internal communication channels)
- User experience improvement:

- Evaluate weaknesses and opportunities to improve the customer experience or operational efficiency, and turn these into development tasks
- Generate and/or develop ideas for new features that will surprise and delight our customers, and work with the tech team to bring them to life

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**

Qualification & Experience
- A relevant degree/diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of product management/project management experience in an agile environment
- Previous experience in business analysis and/or quality assurance
- Solid understanding of prevailing software project management methodologies, e.g., Scrum and agile, and common ticket management tools, e.g., JIRA, Asana
- Ecommerce understanding and experience

- Detail oriented, conscientious and efficient
- Self-disciplined, able to self-manage and set goals
- Advantageous_
- Experience within e-commerce or similar environment, especially with the Magento e-commerce platform
- Experience with software development, HTML, etc.
