About the Role:
Dymaxa Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and tech-savvy individual to join our team as an eCommerce Merchandiser. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with our marketing, creative, and customer service teams to coordinate and execute product and content updates for multiple brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end setup of all products from stock2shop and WooCommerce, ensuring seamless integration and optimal product presentation.
- Maintain and update all product imagery, attributes, including color names, pricing, markdowns, filters, tags, promotional pricing, and copy, to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
- Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, and eCommerce teams to develop compelling merchandising themes and storytelling for each season and across categories, aligning with our brand's vision and goals.
- Examine the website daily/weekly to ensure products are accurately categorized, promotions are functioning, links lead to the correct categories/pages, and product setup is accurate. Test new features and functionality as needed to stay ahead of the competition.
- Manage and optimize site search results and faceted navigation for each category to increase product sales. Identify and fix failed searches, create and manage a library of synonyms for frequently misspelled products and keywords.
- Implement SEO best practices for both product, category, and special landing pages to increase rankings in SERPs. Coordinate content delivery to help organic search results rank for branded and non-branded keywords.
- Conduct competitive analysis to evaluate merchandise, promotions, features, and product presentation to inform future strategies and drive business growth.
Requirements:
- Technically capable and adaptable, with a strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and technologies.
- 1+ years of experience in eCommerce merchandising or a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience working with WooCommerce or similar eCommerce platforms, with a strong understanding of their features and functionality.
- Track record in apparel industries preferred, but not required.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform business decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- A great team player, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools and software.
