**DafriBank Digital LTD** is hiring for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO will be a dynamic and result oriented professional, responsible for formulating strategies for the Bank’s expansion and product offerings. He/she will also work with the Board on decisions and developments and create strategy roadmaps for each function. There will be external stakeholder responsibilities as well. The CEO will be expected to create the vision for the firm and coach the heads of various functional units to achieve those goals within set timelines.

**Responsibilities**:
**Organize and engage subordinates, leading them and helping to develop a high performing managerial team**
Take charge of the normal operations of the Bank and engage in business interactions by creating strategies for its products.
**Develop high quality business strategies and plans of the Company, ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives, to cooperate with Partner Companies to create high performance.**
Develop new clients and maintain relationships with existing customers, open private banking accounts, and expanding the digital bank across the Globe.
**Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits.**
Control the compliance with legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics
**Explore financial and non-financial reports and develop solutions or improvements based on the analysis results**
Maintain trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders
**Investigate problematic situations and occurrences and develop solutions to ensure company survival and growth**
Stay informed about the current situation in the markets and industry of the company
**Pilot efforts at acquiring banking and operational licenses of various countries including meeting regulatory and compliance requirements.**
Seek out and partner with potential investors, VCs, and brokers towards raising required capital for expansion and growth

**Requirements**:
**12+ years' experience of working on a CEO or other relevant position**
Over 12 years of experience in product/P&L function in a digital bank or retail bank.
**Over 3 years of experience in a start-up/Fintech environment**
Profound experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
**Good experience with diverse business functions of Banking and Finance domain.**
Excellent knowledge of corporate finance and performance management principles
**Good knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices**
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
**Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills with an entrepreneurial mindset**
Strong communication and public speaking skills
**MSc or MBA degree in business administration or other relevant area**
Possession of relevant professional certification(s) will be an added advantage
