**Internship Role: Private Equity Support Intern**

**Location**: City Estate Partners, Cape Town Hub (Hybrid Role)

**Commitment**: 2-3 days per week, flexible hours, 3- 6-month paid internship (Minimum wage)

This internship provides hands-on experience in deal sourcing, investor engagement, and top-level analysis, offering invaluable exposure to the private equity sector.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Deal Sourcing**:

- Assist in identifying potential companies for acquisition.
- Conduct preliminary research and analysis on target companies, industries, and markets.
- Support the preparation of reports and presentations for internal review and deal meetings.
- Participate in deal meetings to gain insights into the decision-making process.
- **Top-Level Analysis**:

- Engage in high-level financial and strategic analysis of potential acquisition targets.
- Assist in evaluating investment opportunities, including analyzing financial statements, business models, and market trends.
- Provide support in the due diligence process, gathering and organizing necessary information.
- **Investor Engagement**:

- Support investor engagement activities, including generating content for investor updates and presentations.
- Assist in identifying potential leads and partnerships that align with the firm's investment strategy.
- Help organize and coordinate investor events, meetings, and follow-up activities.
- Maintain and update investor databases and contact lists.

**Working Hours**:

- **Hybrid Role**: 2-3 days per week, with flexible hours and the ability to work remotely.
- **Flexible Schedule**: Designed to accommodate your studies or other commitments, allowing you to gain practical experience without compromising your education.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to work with financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Enthusiastic about learning and gaining experience in private equity and investment management.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
