Reporting to the VP of Sales and Services, the Regional Manager is the business manager for a dedicated region as defined by the VP Sales and Service. You manage the region’s; sales, account management, technical sales, and services capabilities to deliver excellent customer experiences and achieve the regional financial targets. Your team may include directly employed personnel and/or channel partners for the above-mentioned functions. This role is in Pretoria, South Africa.

**Key Deliverables and Responsibilities**:

- Be primarily responsible for setting, adhering, and achieving your regional budget in line with annual global requirements.
- Annually develop and constantly update/review a Regional Business & Operations Plan
- Manage the sales forecast plan and opportunities and grow the sales pipeline. Provide regular opportunity pipeline reports to the VP Sales and Service.
- Development of new sales channels, either direct or through channels based on product and/or geographies as required.
- Where applicable, manage Wenco relationship with Channel Partners in accordance with the Channel Partner Program.
- Promoting and driving the adoption of new products and company programs.
- Working closely with Development, Product Management, Technical Sales and Customer Success where applicable to deliver fit for purpose solutions that best address end-user needs.
- Ensuring all business activities, behaviours and actions are executed in a manner that is compliant with Wenco and HCM global policies.
- Provide and coordinate pre-& post-sales support, ensure install-base satisfaction, and represent Wenco primary in-Region authority in all client activities.
- Compile Monthly Business Reports that delivers updates as required.
- Travel across Africa as required to build new, and nurture existing relationships.
- Attend company and team meetings, as well as onsite and offsite trainings and events.
- Coordinate activities with broader Wenco teams including but not limited to Sales, Client Services, and Training, to ensure Regions have the necessary internal resources.
- Maintain product/service knowledge from a personal and team perspective within the Region.

- Strong Emotional Intelligence and interpersonal skills.

Education
- University degree from an accredited institution or equivalent practical experience. Engineering, Mining, or Technology background

Travel
- Moderate travel required 30-40%
