- Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience**Minimum Requirements**:

- An LLM degree

**Recommended**:

- Current knowledge of and/or experience in paralegal education and practice at a higher education institution is strongly recommended.
- Experience in curriculum development and teaching of Mercantile Law and/or Accounting and/or Information Technology on a law programme would be an advantage
- Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities- Academic development
- Curriculum development, review and implementation
- Design interventions for students at risk
- Reviewing of assessment methods, implementation of evaluation system in compliance with CPUT policies, assessment, moderation and quality assurance
- Perform administrative duties to advance the academic enterprise
- Develop alliance with professional bodies and other stakeholders, establishing partnerships, engaging in community enhancement
- Competencies- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
