**Job Description**:
Responsible for elevating employee experience across all HR competencies and leading with empathy in all interactions.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Partner with leaders/employees to facilitate positive interactions and effective outcomes for matters including performance coaching, performance improvement plans, written warnings, disciplinary actions and communications.
- Able to operate/advise with empathy and in the "gray" areas. Adept comprehension of client motivations and business pain points; leverages inputs to influence key business choices.
- Support and respond thoughtfully to Life/Safety events, and policy, procedure development
- Provide detailed case management documentation, executive summaries and timelines written with precision and clear next steps and recommended remediation strategies
- Analyze employee relations trends with the business to develop proactive strategies, solutions, programs and policies
- Conduct workplace reviews for complex situations, demonstrating effective listening and empathy, probing and investigatory skills with the ability to synthesize data, identify root problems/causes, and recommend actions to resolve
- Effectively and timely respond to questions related to policy, performance management, accommodations, and general inquiries
- Maintain required documentation, including intake and investigative notes, supporting documents and final reports

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

**Qualifications**:
Basic Qualifications
- 7 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA)

Preferred Qualifications
- 7-10 years of work experience and a Bachelors Degree or 7 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA)
- Proven ability to make judgment calls and sound, ethical decisions displaying a heightened level of responsibility, confidentiality, integrity and professionalism
- Highly collaborative, and comfortable working with People Team and Legal partners
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees, managers and executives
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking/problem solving skills
- Strong knowledge of Labor Law employment practices, policies, legal & EEOC guidelines, as well as compensation, wage and hour, benefits administration
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills with excellent follow-through and ability to analyze trends
- Strong case management skills, including proven success conducting interviews and developing thorough documentation
- Ability to execute both strategic and tactical priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication a must, including the ability to interface with others in a positive, approachable and professional manner
- Strong influencing and conflict resolution skills leveraging business acumen, expertise and data.
- 6-8 years of progressive HR experience, with the majority of time in employee relations
- Bachelor’s degree required
- SHRM/PHR Certification preferred
