Underground Mobile Fridge Plant Sales Representative

**1. PURPOSE OF POSITION**
The primary objective is to drive profitable growth of our mining product (Underground mobile fridge plant) and associated maintenance & services within the South Africa region. Is responsible to assist the business unit to grow its market share within the mining sector through strategic initiatives that will result in revenue growth according to accelerated market growth strategy.
M-Tech is seeking to appoint a **sales representative** for mobile fridge plants in deep mines to develop/assist with, but not limited to:
- Maintain and expand existing key clients in terms of managing and driving new sales, repairs and maintenance & support of the units.
- Develop new clients.
**2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Drive revenue growth through sales strategy.
- Cultivate and drive new customer growth.
- Develop key and strategic customer relationships.
- Ensure product and service sales growth, profitability and planning.
- Follow structured sales process with the aim to conclude sales at new customers or expand usage at existing customers
- Continuous growth of the sales funnel and effective close out rate.
- Provide solid field and marketing strategy inputs to grow the business unit.
- Responsible for Key Customer complaints and follow ups.
- Accurately capture sales funnel information.
- Stakeholder management - become the single point of contact for his/her portfolio.
- Expose mining customers to full product and service offering and obtain buy in.
- Execute projected sales forecast.
- Have a 360 view of all account activities and inform business of any new developments.
- Compile product preparations and solution proposals.
- Sales administration and reporting.
- Market research and keeping up to breast with industry developments.
- Responsible to arrange exhibits at conferences and training days at the factory.

**5. PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
**5.1 Education/achievements**
- Degree / diploma in mining / occupational hygiene / other technical field and a commercial degree / diploma or work experiences proven to be comparable.
**5.2 Experience/Knowledge**
- At least 5 years extensive sales experience in selling products and associated maintenance & services at deep mines in South Africa.
- Extensive experience of ventilation / fridge plant / pump products and services sales at underground deep mines will be advantageous.
- Technical knowledge of ventilation underground for both gold and platinum mines will be advantageous.
- Experience must be related to direct employment at mines and/or engineering companies (EPCM and EPC) and/or equipment suppliers with experience in the underground deep mining industry.
