**Job Description**:

- We’re looking for a dynamic and proactive PMO Manager SIB who shares our values and our belief in a better future for mining. Could you be one of them?

In fulfilling the **PMO Manager SIB **role the services rendered to the various areas must be planned, controlled, monitored, and administered to ensure effective service delivery. You will also be responsible for:

- The management and delivery of an operating area’s SIB project portfolio.
- The management of project support services to that operating area.
- Project support covers the functional disciplines of Cost Estimating, Cost Management and Forecasting, Project Planning, Procurement & Contract Management, as applied to individual and groups of projects.
- Ensure ongoing effective governance by ensuring that policies, processes, procedures, and standards for the effective management of Capital and Projects are understood and complied with by the Project Teams.
- Develop and implement controls for ensuring standards are constantly achieved
- Implement standards and guidelines, and operational and business processes.
- Manage the provision of Project Support in the knowledge areas of Project Management, Planning and Estimating, Cost and Schedules Management and Forecasting, Contract Management, and Procurement Management.

**Project Selection**
- Assist to Identify Stay-In-Business (SIB) project opportunities.
- Obtain SIB project opportunities from clients including comprehensive End-User Requirements.
- Assist to update Opportunity Register and submit to Capital Master

**Initiating**
- Set up and initiate project according to the Anglo American SIB Project Management Guideline and Investment Development Method (IDM)
- Assist to review the Project Set up Pack (PSP)
- Assist the client with the development of the Business Case
- Assist to obtain SIB Capital vote approval
- Select the Project Development Method according to segmentation
- Identify and appoint the project team members
- Identify project stakeholders

**Planning**
- Obtain inputs from relevant disciplines and develop the Project
- Management Plan with all its appendices (According to the Anglo American SIB Project Management Guideline and IDM)
- Oversee the development the project scope of work
- Oversee the development of the Work Breakdown Structure
- Oversee the development of the cost budget estimate (CBE)
- Oversee the development of the project execution schedule
- Arrange for and attend risk assessments and HAZOPs
- Contribute to quantitative risk assessments
- Assist with design concepts for all disciplines
- Assist to determine the procurement strategy
- Assist to develop the Procurement Operating Plan (POP)
- Incorporate previous projects’ lessons learned. Communication to Corporate and Functional Centres in the case of injuries, incidents, HPI (high potential incidents) and fatalities within the defined timeframes
- Manage the distribution and compilation of Safety, Health and Environment communication material
- Track monthly invoicing and payments to achieve cashflow

**Executing, Monitoring & Control**
- Assist the Procurement department with tenders
- Assist with contractor appointments
- Assist to manage scope changes
- Assist to oversee cost control
- Manage issues
- Manage incidents
- Manage decisions
- Assist to monitor and control risks
- Manage project communications
- Manage Human Capital
- Manage the development of Human Capital
- Conduct feedback meetings with the client
- Conduct project technical meetings
- Develop project progress reports
- Ensure operational readiness

**Handover and Close-out**
- Confirm Administrative Close-Out of the project
- Assist to document and communicate lessons learned
- Monitor Final Closure of the project on SAP
- Develop a Post Investment Report to be completed by the client if required (Business improvement projects only)
- Oversee the filing and archiving of all project documentation in the Project File

**Safety, Health & Environment**
- Ensure that site teams conduct Risk Assessments for construction activities
- Ensure adherence to site specific Safety, Health Environment (SHE) Requirements
- Ensure that site resources assist with conducting Safety Meetings with the Safety Officers t
