**Job Summary**: Overall responsibility for leading strategic development of RTMA | Business Development | Retail Operations | Design within Daymon’s African Advisory business. This associate is also responsible for Business Development within the larger client-retailer marketing framework and for developing and executing strategies for Advisory services.

**Duties, Responsibilities and Expected Contributions**

***Strategy & Planning**
- Lead the development and marketing activities of the RTMA | Business Development | Retail Operations | Design program, including consumer research and analysis, strategic marketing planning, marketing plan development, and measurement of results
- With customer and Company teams, develop and execute brand strategies for RTMA | Business Development | Retail Operations | Design, including the identification of innovation and NPD opportunities
- Develop a communications strategy outlining how RTMA | Business Development | Retail Operations | Design will be utilized as a point of differentiation from the competition. Develop materials and processes to disseminate positive information to consumers and associates: media channels, in-store devices, point of purchase material, newsletters, handouts, etc.

**Marketing/Branding**
- Lead all customer and Company teams to ensure RTMA | Business Development | Retail Operations | Design standards and design are maintained for each service vertical.
- Elevate the conversation with the customer to the strategy level, manage the Company value proposition with appropriate stakeholders and ensure it is understood and advanced.
- Oversee appropriate research projects to obtain an understanding of consumer perceptions about the RTMA | Business Development | Retail Operations | Design brand programs and brand building efforts
- Develop creative marketing solutions for supplier partners to enhance commission rates or lead to increased revenues
- Create and manage communication processes and feedback loops between customer, Company, supplier partners and external agency teams for all associated responsibilities.

**Analytics**
- Develop systems, processes, and metrics to support business objectives by identifying opportunities and measuring the performance of customers’ brands, relative to internal, external and budgetary benchmarks
- Drive implementation of standard business toolkits including but not limited to syndicated data, loyalty card analysis, and proprietary data warehouses

**Business Partner Relationship Management**
- Own senior level relationships with customers and other business partners through developing and delivering on mutually established goals; enhance the Company’s connectivity with our business partners
- Facilitate and take part in knowledge sharing processes with Company associates throughout the organization
- Develop and support a strong team working culture within the RTMA | Business Development | Retail Operations | Design team
- Create both formal and informal contacts with colleagues in other functions and other countries to ensure the best results

**People Development**
- Develop and retain key talent to enable the execution of the collective goals of the customers and the enterprise
- Motivate, direct and inspire team members to deliver on the agreed upon metrics of the customer and suppliers in conjunction with the needed resources/teams across the enterprise
- Assure succession plans are in place for critical roles
- Drive Employee Satisfaction through continuously enhancing the trust and work experience of associates to make Company a desired workplace

**Reporting Structure**:

**Minimum Qualifications**:
Recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field preferred

**Minimum Experience**:
8+ Years of Brand/Marketing experience within FMCG/CPG, Retailer or Manufacturer. Required experience to include proficiency in Category Management, Brand Management, Marketing, and Analytics.

Must have team management experience

Experience in Private Brand and/or packaging design agency is preferred
