THE ROLE

A Quality Control Inspector is critical to the manufacturing process. You do extensive inspections to ensure that the products are manufactured as per the agreed master sample. **ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**

**Ensure that the correct Master Sample is available at the machine when the shift starts. ** Compare the Master Sample with the First-Off sample and approve if they are identical.

**Do periodic visual inspections on products ensuring conformance to quality specifications. ** Escalate nonconforming products to line manager.

**Assist with identification of nonconforming processes ** Ensure quality deviances approved under concession are actioned

**Ensure a safe and healthy work environment Safety ** Take responsibility for safety devices on machines to ensure the safety of staff working in the plant during a shift and during tool changes.

**Ensure that all Personal Protective Equipment rules are adhere to at all times. ** Ensure that Safe Housekeeping rules are adhere to at all times.

**Ensure that all incidents and accidents are reported timeously. ** Ensure that all Safety rules are adhere to at all times.

The employee commits to familiarizing himself/herself with the ISO 9001:2015 Standard, Quality Manual, Procedures and Works Instructions related to their activities.

**Core skills**

Quality Line Auditors must have excellent attention to detail skills to ensure they are monitoring processes effectively to identify gaps in the system.
- Must be able work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of introductions given, I prescribed routings and standard accepted practices.
- Must be able to motivate and influence workers
- Well-organized and have excellent problem-solving skills.
- Should have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good numerical ability.

**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements**:

- Matric with Mathematics (NQF 5)
- At least 2 years’ experience in Quality Control
- Must be computer literate

Ability to Commute:

- Roodepoort, Gauteng (required)
