Panel Workshop Supervisor

This position is based at ACS Head Office, Stormill, Roodepoort, Gauteng.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Multi-Disciplinary Draughting National Certificate (MDDOP N4/5)
- Diploma /Advanced diploma Electrical/ or Electronic Engineering
- CAD Qualification (Advantageous)
- E-Plan Qualification (Advantageous)

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Background in Panel Building Environment
- AutoCAD
- E-plan will be an advantage
- Drivers Licence (Code B)

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**:

- Applied knowledge relating to technical info within a Process Control environment and system panels
- Computer skills, Windows 10/11, Office Excel, Word
- AutoCAD
- E-Plan
- Creating Electrical drawings, Wiring Diagrams, Dimensional CAD drawings, Layout Drawings
- Be able to assist customer on site with panel inspections and quality feedback on panels
- Ensure industry safety practices and best practice are observed at all time

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Panel building Supervision for wiremen
- Panel Designs
- Prepare drawings for panel workshop (E-plan & AutoCAD)
- Conduct site visits for new projects scope clarification
- Conduct sitework supervision for cabinets installation, Acceptance testing and commissioning
- Oversee Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) in panel workshop
- Follow ACS procedures
- Conduct Control System, Cabinet Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Support.
- Ensure Panels are built to Customer and required national standards.
