**Freight Forwarder, Exports and Solutions (JB2777)**

A well-established company that opened its doors in 1976 and has since then evolved to become the world's 5th largest supplier of global solutions within transport and logistics is looking for a Freight Forwarder, Exports and Solutions professional to join their Team. You will be responsible for planning, administrating, organizing, and reporting on all exports related activities Today, they add value to their customers' entire supply chain by transporting, storing, packaging, re-packaging, processing, and clearing all types of goods. They work every day from their many offices in more than 80 countries to ensure a steady supply of goods to production lines, outlets, stores, and consumers all over the world. Their reach is global, yet their presence is local and close to their customers

**Minimum Requirements**:
Grade 12
Diploma in Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain or similar an advantage
Intermediate computer literacy level in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Knowledge & Experience in WMS SAP
Customs knowledge (Added Advantage)
Exports into Africa certificate / course (Added Advantage)

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Control and Manage all Export Orders.
Update and maintain Shipping Register daily, report on any deviations in performance.
Printing and creating Commercial invoices and packing lists from SAP and excel
Weigh and measure each shipment to ensure correct data is on the documents
Status Reports to be kept updated and communicated to Clients, ensuring that customer requirements are achieved.
Control, Manage and follow-up on all bookings made with the relevant forwarders.
Quality checks all packed shipments
Daily checking of Orders to ensure on time shipment of complete Orders
Accurate shipment of complete Orders within the Lead-Time.
Accurate submission of Shipping documentation i.e., Commercial invoice, packing list, Clearing instructions if required
Ensure shipments are being shipped accurately to avoid any unnecessary charges.
On-Time Investigation of Queries and Claims.
To adhere to all documented and verbal Procedures, Work Instructions and Disciplines.
To assist all parties involved with any problems, queries etc. pertaining to the account.
Liaising with forwarders, dealers, and client daily
Attending to all queries from all parties concerned
All adhoc and general duties that may arise
Excellent inter-personal and people management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
