Customer Communication Specialist

**Job Purpose**
The purpose of the Customer Communication Specialist is to deliver consistent and meaningful communication to our customers across all touchpoints to deliver against our promise of exceptional customer service. This involves managing Blue Label Distribution’s communications through existing and new channels to ensure that business objectives are met using consistent language, tone, and overall customer experience, whilst keeping relevant Blue Label Distribution staff informed and with the required approvals.
The Customer Communication Specialist must be proactive, basing decisions on data and finding innovative ways to problem solve within the fast-paced demands of the market we operate in. The Customer Communication Specialist must drive alignment between business requirements and a seamless customer experience. This will involve high levels of planning and research, understanding the audience, and communicating technical concepts through the development of targeted messages.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage BLD’s communications to ensure that business and compliance
- objectives are met using consistent language, tone, and experience
- Managing communication introducing new products, operational changes, alerts and notifications, corporate brochures, standard forms, and letters across print and web
- Copywriting for letters, web, IVR, and scripts
- Lead a focus on continuous improvement, including opportunities for automation and master data collection/improvement
- Develop well researched, high-level key messages, copy and detailed FAQs for multiple and varied audiences
- Develop and execute communication strategies to support projects, when required
- Provide communication guidance and governance to ensure a consistent tone of voice is reflected in the market and Blue Label’s brand integrity is maintained

**Education**
- Matric
- Undergraduate qualification in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or similar
**Experience**
- Minimum 3 years experience in communications and campaign delivery, ideally in a B2B environment
- Experience in high-pressure environments, having managed multiple, complex initiatives under time pressure
