**BIOVAC** is one of the leading sterile vaccine manufacturers rooted in Africa, with our core purpose being to "protect life". We are looking to hire a dynamic, passionate, confident, proactive and meticulous IT Service Delivery Supervisor to join a goal-oriented team.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED**:

- Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

**NECESSARY EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE**:

- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in IT service delivery, including managing teams and overseeing service desk operations.
- Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Proficiency in incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Business and operational planning.
- Program and project management.

**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE**:
Team Leadership and Management (internal and/or external):

- Provide leadership and guidance to the IT service delivery team, including setting goals, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
- Foster a positive work environment, encourage collaboration, and develop team members' skills through coaching and training.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and provide feedback to enhance individual and team performance.

IT Service Delivery:

- Develop and implement IT service delivery strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective and efficient service provision.
- Monitor service performance against SLAs, identify areas for improvement, and initiate corrective actions to enhance service quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify service requirements, design solutions, and implement IT service improvements.

Incident and Problem Management:

- Oversee the handling of IT incidents and problems, ensuring timely resolution and mínimal disruption to business operations.
- Coordinate incident response activities, including incident identification, logging, categorization, prioritization, and escalation as necessary.
- Conduct root cause analysis of major incidents, recommend preventive measures, and ensure proper documentation for future reference.

Service Level Management:

- Establish and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) with internal departments and external vendors.
- Monitor SLA performance, analyze trends, and proactively address any deviations or breaches.
- Regularly communicate service performance and improvement initiatives to stakeholders, including management and customers.

Change and Release Management:

- Collaborate / Lead the Change Management team to review and approve changes, ensuring mínimal disruption to service availability and quality.
- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of approved changes and releases, following established change management processes.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of changes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Continuous Improvement:

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT service delivery processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Conduct periodic service reviews with stakeholders to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and implement appropriate actions.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends related to IT service delivery and incorporate them into the organization's processes.
