We are currently recruiting for the position of HR & Payroll Administrator on behalf of one of our clients situated in the Johannesburg area. The person will be solely responsible for all HR and payroll administrative tasks within this medium sized company.

**JOB PURPOSE**

To manage the Human Resources and Payroll Department efficiently and effectively to support and meet business objectives including development & implementation; improvement and administration of strategies & policies; and managing all aspects of Payroll & HR Administration. Ensuring high levels of confidentiality and accuracy are maintained at all times.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Payroll Management **_
- Manage payroll for all entities.
- Process payroll transactions (e.g. salaries, benefits, deductions).
- Oversee payroll changes and system upgrades.
- Oversee and direct payroll procedures and processes.
- Monthly statutory PAYE, UIF and SDL (EMP201) reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligations.
- Monthly payroll reconciliation.
- Reconcile and prepare monthly third-party payments, (i.e., provident fund, medical aid, gap cover and funeral fund).
- Resolve payroll-related issues.
- Liaise with auditors for annual payroll audits.
- Annual and Bi-Annual, EMP 501 reconciliations.
- Maintaining employee files, and all related records.
- Ensuring compliance and submissions of Employment Equity, OID (Occupational Injuries WCA Submissions, and quarterly STATS SA submissions.
- **Human Resource Management **_
- Full recruitment lifecycle (screening, interviewing, drafting of the offer letter and onboarding of new employees).
- Onboarding - creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations.
- Disciplinary and CCMA - proficient in navigating and managing disciplinary processes as well as ensuring compliance with CCMA regulations.
- Managing termination process, processing terminations on the system, conducting exit interviews, issuing UIF documents, and Certificate of Service.
- Identify training and development needs and manage accordingly.
- Develop, implement, and maintain current policies and processes.
- Scheduling & planning annual wellness day and third-party meetings.
- Driving company culture initiatives.
- **Secondary Responsibilities**_
- Ad Hoc tasks as required by the Directors.

**QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES**
- Bachelor's degree/ diploma in Human Resources or related qualification.
- 3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, including but not limited to Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Labour Relations Act (LRA)
- Strong Sage VIP Knowledge & Experience
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong Attention to Detail

- High Levels of Integrity & Confidentiality
- Excellent Conflict Resolution Skills
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Self-starter, self-disciplined with a can-do attitude.
