Your Role
Job Purpose:
This role is responsible for working with a quality manager. The main tasks to involve assisting the manager in sampling, assessing, and verifying that the products meet certain set standards. Along with the manager, the Quality specialist will ensure that legal compliance and expectations of the customers are met. In addition, the Quality specialist may also have to keep proper documentation of the product assessment results.

A Typical Day

Involved in a variety of different quality control processes.

Implement and maintain quality processes (e.g. 8D’s, GRR, NCR, NRFT’s, Poka Yoke, DOE, SixSigma. D/FMEA etc.)

Testing and assessing products. Analysing results and provide feedback.

Keep accurate records of tests conducted.

Produce written test reports for the QA Manager and have regular meetings to discuss how quality standards can be maintained or highlight problem areas that require review.

Responsible for identifying product defects or potential issues and determining what to do to resolve the issues.

Supporting process improvements through quality tools.

Administrate and file data or reports.

Conducting Lab tests

Who You Are

Matric

Minimum tertiary degree with preference towards quality or engineering.

Experience in quality assurance and manufacturing (at least 3 years experience)

Computer literate with strong MS Office skills.
