**Position: Automation Technician**

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Technician to join our team. The Automation Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated systems and equipment to ensure smooth operations and efficiency in our manufacturing facility.

- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on automation equipment to minimise downtime.

**3.** **Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure that the products meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Implement quality control measures and adjust processes to improve product quality.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and rectify quality-related issues.

**4. Process Optimization**:

- Continuously assess production processes to identify areas for efficiency improvement.
- Implement changes or upgrades to machinery to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements that could benefit the production process.

**5. Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment.
- Train and guide other employees on safe operating procedures.

**6. Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of operational parameters, maintenance activities, and any incidents.
- Prepare reports on machinery performance, production output, and any issues encountered.
- Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding equipment status and production challenges.

**7. Collaboration and Teamwork**:

- Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and operational staff to ensure cohesive production activities.
- Participate in team meetings, providing insights and suggestions for process improvements.
- Assist in training new staff on machine operation and safety procedures.

- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in automation technology.
