Training Instructor: Trackless (B7)

A local mine around **Rustenburg** in the Northwest is looking for a **Training Instructor: Trackless (B7 position)** to join their team.

**Purpose of the post**:
To train and assess mining technical skills according tot he quality LDS principles, legislative requirement and to facilitate theoretical, practical and behavioral competencies to improve H&S and increase productivity according to the organizational needs.

**Minimum qualifications and requirements**:

- Grade 12 certificate with English literacy.
- ETD Certificate/NQF Level 3 (Train the Trainer).
- Registered assessor and moderator certificate.
- Min. 2 years underground experience in Trackless environment as a UG Operator/TMM is essential.
- Valid First Aid Certificate.
- Competent B and Blasting Assistant is essential.
- Health and Safety is essential.
- Medically fit.
**Competencies**:

- Trackless Machine operation skills is essential.
- Training process and procedures knowledge.
- Underground mining relevant legislative requirement.
- OEM Certificate (suppliers of specific UG machinery and equipment) is desirable.
**Key Performance Areas**:

- Gather evidence according to ISO requirements within SAQA registered U/S and then coach according to the identified gaps through RPL assessment, gathering of evidence and formative assessment.
- Effectively perform formative assessment to evaluate readiness of learner prior to summative assessment that determines applied competence of learners.
- Complete required documents/admin to ensure complete, valid, reliable, authentic and current PoE for each learner.
- Conduct moderation practices to ensure quality of the learning output.
- Maintain the learning delivery system.
