**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Daily Operations of the Warehouse**
- Develop clear objectives defining a strategy for the department, along with the warehouse manager (short and medium term)
- Develop processes and communications for the business indicating each stakeholders requirements and expectations (SLAs where required)
- Develop and implement plans for improving warehouse processes and systems
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations (GMP/ GWP aligned standards)
- Daily stock accuracy and ensure pick slots and empty slots are counted and confirmed daily
- Investigates variances between system and physical balances
- Ensures that product offloaded into the warehouse is received immediately onto the system
- Product shelf-life management. Reviews traceability at least once per week
- Ensures that any non-conforming product is isolated, recorded and adjusted off the system immediately
- Recalls Assists in the recall process - Inter DC transactions
- Customer specific counts - Manages counts of items required by customer. Ensures 100% validation of accurate stock replenishment. Assigns tasks to staff and redirects staff duties and tasks according to priorities
- Ensures staff execute processes and procedures compliance as prescribed by the company. Inspects and ensure completed documentation for accuracy and completeness

**Financial budgeting/ planning and metrics**
- Assist with providing information for the development of budget and plans, annually and oversee adherence
- Manage projects, testing, implementation, and user training
- Meet/Consult/Engage and build relationships with all stakeholders to determine reporting, analytical and technology, service requirements (supporting risks and opportunities)
- Management of strategies, goals, objectives, metrics, KPIs, Governance, Risk and Compliance aspects
- Provide warehouse manager with daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting and warehouse metrics
- Identify opportunities and risks impacting the organization, requiring research or analysis, and provide actionable recommendations potentially impacting overall profitability and/or revenue performance

**Manage the Warehouse teams in respect of infrastructure, systems, reporting and analytics platforms to ensure efficiencies and optimisation for effective service delivery**

- Follow HR procedures
- Prepare schedule for Inventory Control staff; ensure that proper staffing levels and employee skill levels are optimized
- Develop, implement, and clearly communicate performance metrics to all employees.
- Utilize performance management tools such as coaching and performance reviews to provide continuous feedback and identify development needs
- Assist in any tasks, answer questions, and monitor activities of Inventory Control staff
- Ensure a culture of continuous development encourage a learning and growth mindset amongst team

**System and Quality Management**
- Ensures data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analysing data flows for process improvement opportunities
- Works closely with a variety of internal clients and partners within all functional areas of the business to ensure cross-functional technical systems are fully integrated and maintained

**Manage and implement robust processes for Inventory/stock levels efficiently to ensure full warehouse optimization and accurate processing of orders.**
- Manage warehouse layout and space requirements and inventory to prevent loss or damage to ensure full optimization
- Implement systemic processes to take account of inventory levels, supplies, stock turnover and equipment checks
- Implement & monitor processes to identify/escalate discrepancies in inventory records and monitor effective and fast processing of orders
- Manage stock to ensure that stock levels match requirements within the constraints of working capital affordability and cash budgets

**3 rd Party Inventory and Process management**
- Develop and manage systems for 3rd Party storage
- Ensure recon and billings are conducted monthly and submitted as per financial guidelines
- Maintain and manage relationship with 3rd party stakeholder and execute service offering according to SLAs

**Cold Chain**
- Daily, weekly, and monthly engagement with service provider
- Monthly audit of inventory integrity together with analysis and reporting
- Monitor and drive the integration integrity between systems and processes

**Dimensions**
- Manage and oversee staff compliment and ensure performance of approx. 1 direct report.
- Oversee a transport and delivery of quality product with an annual turnover ($300mn)
- Distribution facility management ($15mn facility)
