We are looking to appoint a passionate, committed and determined individual to lead a portfolio of projects for our Clients. Your role as Client Partner will include elements of business development, account management and strategic direction and is essential to the long-term growth of Praekelt.
**Key Focus Areas**
**Direction**: Ensure a deep understanding of the Client’s goals and objectives, so that these can be translated effectively into our project strategy and ultimate solution;
**Delivery**: Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring that expectations are well managed and ultimately exceeded through our service delivery;
**Opportunities**: Ensure a deep understanding of Praekelt’s ways of workings and product offerings in order to recommend appropriate solutions to Clients;
**Revenue**:Ensure efficient financial management of Client relationships
**Responsibilities**
- Lead the strategic development of breakthrough strategy for our Client, in order to ensure that they are at the forefront of digital innovation in the telecommunications space, whilst ensuring their current goals and objectives are translated effectively into a cohesive digital solution;
- Ensure a deep understanding of the Client’s goals and objectives, so that these can be translated effectively into our product strategy and ultimate solution, and shared with the broader Praekelt team;
- Work collaboratively with the Praekelt Product Team, including the Product Owner, to consult on current and future client requirements, engage collaboratively on the Product Roadmap, and engage strategically on the Product vision and focus;
- Ensure efficient financial management of your portfolio - ensuring income is secured and that budgets are allocated effectively across all projects;
- Lead a multidisciplinary hyperteam in providing the utmost level of client service and also delivering world-class, impactful digital solutions;
- Identify new business opportunities and, working with the relevant teams as required, scope out these opportunities and pitch these to your clients;
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to assist with deal closures, including providing input to proposals and pricing, contributions to case studies and other customer related collateral;
- Keep abreast of new and existing digital technology which could be useful to our clients, sharing this information with the rest of the team, where necessary;
- Ensure you have an excellent understanding of your Client’s brand and continue to update this knowledge as the brand progresses - look for opportunities which the Client may not yet have spotted;
- Where necessary (typically, when not supported by a Project Manager), assume operational responsibility for Project Management, including briefing the team, developing a project plan, and ensuring that the project is delivered on time, and on budget.
**Relevant Experience and Skills**
- A relevant graduate business or technology qualification
- Technical understanding - we provide technical solutions to clients and it is critical that the individual filling this role is able to translate technical project requirements to (and from) our clients to ensure that product solutions are delivered on time, on spec and in line with the agreed budget;
- Significant experience in professional client relationship management and experience building products for mobile and media platforms;
- Significant experience in software product management with a particular understanding of conversational systems.
- Knowledge of relevant products and internet trends as they relate to conversational systems and their applicability in solving business challenges.
- The ability to plan and strategise with both clients and colleagues at a senior level;
- A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects.
- An avid consumer of digital and social media, always in the know about the latest trends, technologies and platforms
- Excellent team management capabilities.
- Keen attention to detail with experience managing budgets, and running projects on time, and on budget.
- Full awareness of Agile processes and techniques.
