We are recruiting for a dedicated and dynamic Brand Specialist: Sponsorship to join an Insurance company based in Sandton Johannesburg. The company believes that sponsorship plays a crucial role in its marketing strategy and looking for an individual who can take charge of this responsibility with enthusiasm and creativity.

**Who’ll you report to**:
The role is based within the Brand, People, and Learning division at the company’s head office in Sandton, Johannesburg. It reports to the Head of Brand, who is accountable for our strategic marketing delivery across all sponsorship and consumer marketing initiatives.
- **Responsibilities**:_

As the **Brand Specialist: Sponsorship**, the role plays a pivotal role in overseeing and delivering our sponsorship and sponsorship leveraging strategy. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- **Negotiating Sponsorship Agreements**: Support the negotiation of sponsorship agreements in alignment with our business strategy.
- **Sponsorship Strategy Development**: Develop sponsorship marketing and leveraging strategies that align with overall brand strategy.
- **Execution Management**: Manage the execution of all sponsorship rights, ensuring successful, on-time, and on-budget campaigns.
- **Relationship Building**: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external clients, and business partners.
- **Budget Management**: Manage and track budgets in compliance with procurement processes and policies.
- **Performance Monitoring**: Regularly monitor and report on campaign performance.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate closely with in-house social media, content, and design teams, as well as external suppliers, to ensure outstanding execution of all sponsorship and consumer marketing strategies and campaigns.
- **Qualifications and Experience**:_
- Minimum of three years’ proven experience in Marketing and Brand role (preferably in sponsorship management)
- Relevant Marketing or Communications Qualification at NQF level 7 and above
- Experience in a sports marketing business or agency is an added advantage.
- Experience in the South African rugby environment is an added advantagel

- Comfortable working in a diverse, multi-skilled, and multi-disciplinary team.
- Enthusiasm, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy.
- **Additional Important Information**:_

**Salary**: R22,500.00 - R42,500.00 per month
