My client in the manufacturing Industry is looking to employ a Senior Retail Marketing Specialist.

**Job scope**:

- Define, plan and execute the company marketing strategy for all retail product offerings.
- Manage the external advertising agency inter-alia; budget allocation, deliverables ensuring an acceptable ROI on each investment.
- Negotiate and collaborate with suppliers ensuring co-op marketing support.
- Responsible to manage the entire ATL / BTL / Digital advertising spend within agreed budget parameters.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- In depth understanding of Automotive industry retail trends; Monitor, analyze, and evaluate market trends, customer/consumer behavior, and competitors' activity to identify market opportunities.
- Active participation in the monthly management business review with group stakeholders
- Execute marketing plans, including brand support and trade support (promotions, brand custodian, communication, brochures incentives, loyalty programs, sponsorships, training materials).
- Develop sales campaign briefs, recommend choice of media so that marketing initiatives and promotions are effective, efficient, and appropriate to the intended audience.
- Champion the strategic marketing plan with senior stakeholders in the companies group.
- Administrative support including presentations, finances (budget, payment facilitation), agreements, agency briefs, supplier RFQ' etc.

**Minimum requirements**:

- Post graduate degree with Marketing / Communication or consumer behaviour as Majors
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a retail marketing role in a multinational company. (Preferably in an automotive retail franchise environment)
- Strong negotiations skills with exceptional interpersonal and collaborative communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to independently prioritize workload and projects
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - prioritization, planning and task delegation
- Knowledge of automotive-related industries, Franchising;
