Optical Practice Manager / Bookkeeper - Cape Town North.

Are you an all rounder with excellent administration, bookkeeping and management experience?

Our Client based in Northern Suburbs requires a trustworthy individual who has excellent numerical accuracy and a good self-image who can work very well with people in a fast-paced environment.

**Requirements**:

- Matric, tertiary qualification high advantageous
- Very well presented
- Excellent communication skills, bilingual in English and Afrikaans
- Financial experience with debtors, creditors, bank reconciliations
- Very accurate numerical skills
- All round administration and PA experience advantageous
- Confidence to be accountable and to take full responsibility of this job function
- Computer Literate
- Own transport and a Driver’s License

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Reporting directly to the Owner
- Oversee the company’s financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable & daily financial entries and reconciliations
- Personal assistant duties for the Owner
- Managing and collecting of debtors for two branches
- Payment of creditors for two practices
- Daily and monthly Bank Reconciliations
- Recording of transaction in the ledger
- Assisting with any patient account queries
- Recording of all business transactions into the ledger.
- Working out weekly staff rosters
- Handling general staff issues and managing staff leave
- Offering administrative support to the Owner
- Planning, and organising meetings and travel arrangements for Owner
- Ordering of stock for two practices from suppliers
- Ensuring stock levels are checked weekly and monthly
- Ordering optical lenses, optical frames, optical cases, and optical equipment from overseas suppliers
- Processing invoices from suppliers and adding to stock on our systems
- Assist in reception if patient pressure demands
- Any ad-hoc duties that arise and offer assistance all round when needed in this busy practice
