Job Description- Greeting customers
- Answering questions
- Obtaining preliminary patient histories
- Performing administrative duties, such as keeping records, scheduling appointments, filing insurance claims, performing bookkeeping, and managing inventory
- Scheduling appointments
- Verifying insurance benefits
- Collecting payments
- Ensuring the smooth flow and operation of an optometrist's office
- Advising patients on how to properly store their contact lenses and assisting in choosing frames for glasses
Qualifications
- Must have reception experience preferably within an optometrist/medical practice.
- Must be able to work over weekends
