**Entity and activity description**
This incumbent ensures that all safety objectives are achieved as per HSE plan (incident reporting etc). Assists in the implementation of applicable Group standards (GE >’s), laws & regulations in their regions. Safety procedures are followed (Work Permit, housekeeping, etc) as well as toolbox talks and safety meetings are conducted.

**Missions and Responsibilities**
- Ensure Contractor Control & management procedures, including Inductions are done
- Assist the facility manager with EIS & EIQ management
- Work in close coordination with Industrial team IMS coordinator (HUB) to ensure local production units comply to AL GT/GE procedures and IMS requirements (MyIMS)
- Ensure Road Safety facility Vehicle Checklists are completed and No-Go Items respected
- Internal Audit preparation, participation & Corrective Actions for Integrated Management system (Safety, Quality & IMS).
- External audit preparation, participation & corrective actions (BV audit, CIA audit, group audit, Food safety & SANAS audit).
- Follow up on outstanding actions on the Actions Register (all Audit findings, RCA Actions, BSV Actions, Safety Walkabout Actions, ARA actions, IMS actions, etc)
- Assist with Management of Change (MOC) and conduct audits to ensure MOC process is followed
- Assist Facility Managers with 6 monthly management review meetings.
- Ensure all required appointments (training where required & LOA’s) are up to date (Safety, Quality & IMS)
- Ensure Safety Checklists & Documents (SHE Reps, Ladders, Fire Fighting equipment, medicals, calibration etc) are conducted and legal inspections (OHS Act) are up to date
- Identify and implement training requirements for safety representatives and conduct monthly SHE Rep meetings
- Ensure that all non conformances, customer care and non conforming products are reported on Intelex
- Conduct on site audits to ensure analysers are calibrated as per procedure and calibration gasses are still valid (within expiration date)
- Assist the Food Safety Team and site operations with FSSC requirements and audits
- Assist PRMR in conducting risk assessments related to Primary Production Plants
- Audit onsite security guards to ensure compliance to security and breathalyzing procedures
- Lead and conduct monthly Safety meetings with Primary Production Plants Facility Managers
- Assist Regional Maintenance manager to ensure legal inspections as per OHS Act are conducted and actions identified are managed accordingly

**Competencies and Profile** Educational requirements**
- Engineering / Safety Degree or Equivalent a
- Samtrac or NEBOSH additional

**Experience**
- 3 years industrial experience (preferably in the gas industry).
- Preference will be given to individuals with sound AL system knowledge and well versed in management system fundamentals including ISO 90001, 22000, PER etc data analysis, problem solving techniques and IMS standards (GT/GE).

**Knowledge and Know-how specific to the job**
- Exposure to IM operations and/or projects.
