Global Brand Lead

Our client is looking for a Global Brand Lead to Lead profitable growth of the companies portfolio of brands across the globe. Lead the development of marketing strategies with a focus on consumer, portfolio management, integrated commercial planning, break through communications, innovation and renovation. Ensuring all brand and marketing activities are rooted in category and consumer insights and have an intricate understanding of multi-country marketing and competitor dynamics. Monitor commercial and brand health and partnering with local opco’s in in rectifying with corrective actions as required. Forms an integral leadership role within the broader Company group entrenching culture and leadership values of the organization.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead Company Portfolio Strategy in collaboration with OPCO’s in integrated commercial planning. Support development of winning brand strategies using the company
Marketing way methodology and toolkit**.**
- Develops a category strategic view and ensures all brand strategies incorporate the category lens
- Turn data into actionable insights in order to guide long term brand trajectory that maximises profitable growth. Supports OPCO’s in developing 1-3 year financial targets
(Volume/Revenue/GP, Market share) and co creates brand health targets.
- Co-creation of category pack price ladders. Creation of Creative platform fit for a variety of lead markets. Identify relevant innovation opportunities by harnessing consumer
shopper category and customer insights.
- Leads and directs the development of an integrated marketing communication strategy to communicate with all stakeholders internally and externally
- Develop innovation pathway 1-5 Years which positions the brand ahead of the curve vs competitors and ensures it remains relevant with target consumer groups
- Leads collaboration on digital transformation and E Commerce projects with G&I and other relevant stakeholders
- Co owns agency relationship along with OPCO marketing directors.
- Takes lead on all CSI projects and stakeholder management in conjunction with SA Corporate Affairs
- Manages resource management and allocation of brand teams on priorities and workloads. Leads alignment of people, processes and brands to delivery company values
and corporate reputation.

**Qualifications**:
- Education: Relevant and recognized honours or post graduate qualification in commercial marketing
- Minimum 10 years marketing experience, ideally across a range of FMCG companies. Alcohol experience would be beneficial though not mandatory.
