**THE ROLE**:
As the Banqueting Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and organizing all aspects of events and banquets hosted at their venue. This includes liaising with clients, ensuring seamless event coordination, and working with the F&B and service teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences. You will be the key point of contact for all event-related activities, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
**WHAT’S IN A DAY’S WORK?**
- Coordinate and manage all banquet and event logistics, including setup, service, and breakdown
- Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and tailor the event services accordingly
- Ensure smooth communication and collaboration between the kitchen, F&B, and service teams
- Handle event inquiries and bookings, ensuring all client needs are met efficiently and professionally
- Create detailed event plans, including seating arrangements, menus, and service timelines
- Oversee event operations on the day, ensuring excellent service delivery and guest satisfaction
- Manage inventory and supplies for banquets, ensuring availability and replenishment as needed
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to promote banqueting services and secure bookings
- Maintain the highest level of guest service standards and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during events
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Proven experience as a Banqueting Coordinator, Event Planner, or in a similar role within a hotel or event venue
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities to ensure seamless event execution
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations and event planning best practices
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
