Accounts Receivable Officer

**About The Opportunity**

As the Accounts Receivable Officer, based at our office in Johannesburg, you will oversee the accounts receivable function for Micromine’s AMEE region (Africa, Middle East & Europe), providing essential support to the AMEE Finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, AMEE, your key responsibilities will include:

- Generating and sending invoices to customers promptly and accurately.
- Reconciling accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy.
- Following up on overdue payments and resolving billing disputes
- Following up on payments from new clients (before the invoice is generated).
- Updating and maintaining the clients contact information on Netsuite.
- Reporting on collections on a weekly basis.

**About You**

You will have previous experience in similar accounting or administrative roles, ideally within a multinational corporation.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite, including Excel to an intermediate level.
- Whilst not essential, experience with multi-currency and overseas transactions would be useful.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation.
