Outsource Manager

**Reporting to**:Head: Specialised Recoveries

**Location**:Sandton, Johannesburg

The Outsource Manager is responsible for developing outsourcing strategies, source and manage External Debt Collectors (EDC). The manager is required to monitor performance and maintain relationships with the panel of external service providers.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Under the management / direction of the Head: Specialised Recoveries, the Outsource Manager will have the following responsibilities (including but not to):

- To effect outsource Collections and Recovery strategies
- Manage performance on EDC Recoveries
- Monitor EDC performance for optimal recoveries and ensure regulatory compliance
- Monitor and control the KPI objectives and deliverables
- Daily, Weekly and monthly reporting
- Monthly reconciliation with EDC
- Facilitating New Handovers and reallocation
- Building relationships with existing EDCs
- Engagements and performance briefs with External Debt Collectors
- Manage staff in terms of performance management and development

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Experience
- 10-15 years' experience in credit solutions with 4-5 years' management experience.

Technical / Professional Knowledge
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office suite. Specifically, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledgeable in business writing, -terms, -definitions, -acumen, and -principles
- Proficient in communication strategies
- HR / IR knowledge

**Skills**:

- Exceptional management skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Performance driven
- Strong financial and business acumen - exposure to a full cycle (1 year) of managing and developing budgets, financial forecasts, commissions structures
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to build strong working relationships
- Ability to take ownership of responsibilities
- Ability to solve complex problems
- High degree of accuracy
