**_Responsible for supporting Stores and Head Office with all tender type recoveries, reviewing and authorizing all journal entries coming through from the store's workflow and Head Office Gen Merch team, Ensuring the main cash sales journal balances. And managing different adhoc tasks - for example: Petty Cash, IT costs allocation, resolving RCS queries, raising 3rd party invoices, balancing FCS costs and recoveries, R/D cheques recoveries, Petrol Cards, Corporate Cards, Bidvest Forex, mRewards Recons, and voucher requests. _**

**_Responsibilities_**:**_ _**

**_Check if the main cash sales journal and the bank statements have interfaced successfully_**

**_ _**

**_Ensure all tenders have been settled_**

**_ _**

**_Clearing of all tender and sales clearing balance sheet accounts_**

**_ _**

**_Perform tender recons. and Monitor Cash Settlements Turn Around Time_**

**_ _**

**_Investigate and follow up on all non-settlements and Deal with adhoc customer queries_**

**_ _**

**_Conduct weekly meetings with SBSA with queries on Cash and Card Recovery _**

**_Approval of valid store journals (petty cash, own use, trade debtor clearing, sponsorships/donations, accruals, unredeemed credit notes, reallocation and adhoc expense journals)_**

**_ _**

**_Performing Balance Sheet Recons on Walmart Recon Assist tool_**

**_ _**

**_Managing Banking relations - giving access to online users, adding on signatories, and amending the banking structures _**
