Quality Control Monitor

RCL FOODS is on the lookout for a Quality Control Monitor** **to join our Group Services Division. The role will be based at Speciality Spartan and reports to the Senior Quality Assurance Technologist. RCL foods is looking for a highly organised and skilled individual who can deliver results, meet the customers’ expectations and work well under handle pressure.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Monitoring daily production processes
- Complete daily production process check sheets
- Monitoring temperature of product and of equipment
- Monitoring all foreign objects (Glass & hard, pest, metal and other)
- Monitoring packaging integrity
- Monitoring final product shelf life, weights and Work in progress aspects
- Monitoring cleaning and basic hygiene including house keeping
- Monitoring and ensuring traceability records are completed by relevant personnel
- Monitoring of metal detection and ensure its efficiently working
- Conducting product QC assessment (evaluation) for both beginning and end of shelf life
- Truck Inspection and dispatching of final product
- Final product sample collection for WW QC samples and for micro testing
- Scale verifications
- Take part in factory trials
- Assist in investigation by retrieving records of production date in question
- Filling and compiling daily document sheets
- Conduct allergens/cleaning verification tests and conduct positive release

**Minimum Requirements**:
Matric, Quality/Food Safety tertiary qualification
